Teacher of Pathways

Hobsonville Point Secondary School seeks an innovative, future-focused educator to make an impact with our Pathways team.

This role integrates careers education within school life, supporting students to design personalised pathways toward university, apprenticeships or employment.  At Hobsonville Point Secondary School we take career counselling and careers education to a new level. Our Partnerships & Pathways team’s vision is to create a dynamic, future-focused environment where students access a broad range of opportunities, networks, and experiences. We believe the transition to tertiary study and the workplace is one which offers opportunities for innovation, connections and partnerships.

We are committed to enacting Te Tiriti o Waitangi and embedding mātauranga Māori, Te Reo Māori me ngā tikanga Māori throughout our curriculum and school culture and we work in close partnership with our iwi, Te Kawerau ā Maki. All staff are supported in developing culturally sustaining and relational pedagogies.

If this sounds like a place where you’d belong and thrive, we’d love to hear from you.
