English Language (ESOL) Teacher Aide

English Language (ESOL) Learning Assistant - Part-Time

Are you passionate about supporting students in their learning journey? Do you have a talent for helping others communicate, connect, and succeed?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Language (ESOL) Learning Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support students in the classroom and help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all learners can thrive.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with students in small groups to support English language development
  • Assisting students from a wide range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds
  • Supporting learning in reading, writing, and mathematics in collaboration with classroom teachers
  • Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and participation
  • Contributing to a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

     

About You:
  • Passionate about supporting student learning and wellbeing
  • Patient, positive, and encouraging in your approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience working with English language learners or in a school setting (desirable but not essential)

     

Working Hours: 
  • 4 days a week 9am-3:30pm (potential for this to go to 5 days)
  • Term Time only
